accomplice liability

An accomplice is someone who aids the criminal in committing a crime.  Example: a case where X is causing harm to another while Y watches and cheers X on. Even though Y did not engage in the offensive touching or other harm, he is liable nonetheless for encouraging X’s unlawful conduct.
