Equitable remedies are remedies a court awards where a specific award of damages impossible for some reason or another. Equitable remedies are where a court renders a special or extraordinary order of some kind that orders a party to do or not to do some particular act to stop or prevent some kind of harm to the plaintiff or others. Examples of such equitable remedies include injunctions, writs of attachment, possession, and mandamus.
