Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies or Federalist Society or “Fed Soc”

Founded in 1982, the Federalist Society is a group of some 70,000 members of conservative and libertarian lawyers and law students that advocates for a textualist and originalist interpretation of the United States Constitution. The Federalist Society is active on many law school campuses and plays a role in aiding the nomination of members and like-minded lawyers to federal courts.
