Group of students with whom a student takes all first-year courses. As many law schools grade first-year students completely on the curve, all classes are taken with the same students to ensure more equal comparisons. Because students are in all of the same classes for an entire year, there is often acute competition and frequent annoyance with others, particularly gunners. See Gunners.
